Travel Customer Service Specialist
Salary ?16,000 + ?300 Shift Allowance
The Travel/Customer Service Specialist (CSS) is responsible for providing diamond class customer service; answering incoming calls within Service Levels and researching appropriate tasks. As a priority skill set, the Travel/Customer Service Specialist will plan customer travel itineraries; sourcing the best and most appropriate fares
Key Accountabilities:
? To act as an expert Travel advisor, planning all aspects of travel itineraries
? Must be able to utilise the GDS system to develop, alter and refund travel tickets where appropriate; including being able to explain complex fare structures
? To deliver effective and unique solutions to customer enquiries
? Ensure SLA targets are met and language availability is managed effectively amongst the travel specialist peer group
? Shares specialist knowledge
? The Travel/Customer Service Specialist must also be able to cover the range of accountabilities required of a Band A Customer Service Specialist
Skill/Technical Competencies:
? A detailed level of understanding in the use of GDS flight booking systems, to be able to find most appropriate and best cost flight schedules
? Have a detailed understanding of airline fare structures to be able to inform the customer and process refunds/changes where appropriate
? Ability to deal proactively with ?live? travel queries without the need to call the customer back
? The Travel/Customer Service Specialist must also be able to cover the range of accountabilities required of a Band A Customer Service Specialist

Shifts working on a rotating basis 1 week 9-5, 1 week 10-6 1 week 12-8
